VHT legality issues
Since my accident i've been wondering about this. I've applied nightshades to my tail lights to black them out, but what if i got in an accident, say rear ended. Could that modification be found illegal and bad things happen to me?

I believe that it could only be an issue if your brake or tail lights were difficult or impossible to see when on.
As long as your lights are visible and others can tell when you are stopping and see you at night it should not be an issue. Like I said...I believe..

Yours are VERY black, and they were striped to start though Haro. Mine are definetly brighter.
But I live on a hill, and if I come from campus it'* a right turn into a blind intersection, and not everyone expects it. If i got pummeled from behind cause they didn't see my brake lights on because of the sun or something.. I'm pretty sure it would come up somewhere..

Jason, if yours are no darker than my 95, I don't think anyone would ever even notice. You could always tell the insurance it was that way when you bought it, and they had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before they wrote the policy.

Well my mom has commented on my darker blinkers when she'* been following me around Mankato. At night they're still brighter then some cars, but if I pulled up next to another bonnie you could tell.
Lets not even talk about one cleared, and one normal corner light that i'm running upfront...
