Cleaning Crosslace Corrosion
Hello fellow Bc forum members , well after posting in the wanted section and searching numerous posts looking to buy gold crosslace rims, i finally found them. Luckily i pm'ed a member in the ontario area that was parting out his bonneville and all worked out. The rims are in great shape no curb rash.....but their is corrosion on the outer lip, now i would like to ask what is the best way of taking care of this corrosion. Im sure many people have their own methods and i would be glad to hear them.
The current method im thinking about is sanding down the outer lip with a 80 grit paper and then finishing them off with a 400 grit...and then simply add the clear coat.
Im up for any method that works with best results. Thank you.
