And I must admit that your car is a stunner. But I don't have the deep pockets that you do. I can get nice rims but I wanted to up one size to 17. Guess what? My mom voiced her dismay. "No! You're throwing too much money on that." "16" will be fine!, don't need to buy another set!" Curses! So I'm stuck with 16ers. I still have my eye on that ASA EM9 I believe, the dark gray one. I think it looks like a crosslace but without the complexity of the crosslaces. I'm still undecided. Right now it'* still between the Inoxs and the ASA. I'm still looking around though. I prefer to order off online but my pop doesnt' like that. Whatever, I'm 18 so I'm an adult now.

I'm starting to like the Inoxs now, I'm on Tirerack right now going back and forth with the EM9s and the Inoxs comparing. I think with the Inoxs, it looks like it'll be a stunner. Probably not as beautiful as Handdrum but pretty close. Watch out Handdrum this silver stunner'* coming at ya!

PS I think I might pick the Inoxs after all....

Personally I love the Inox design. It'* on my top 3 list for when I get my good weather wheels.

Yeah they're marvelous. I think I'm definitely getting them but I'll have to wait until Ohio thaws out which should be oh lets say May. I think the Inoxs will go nicely with my red calipers and pinstriping. Then she'll be beautiful then I'll try to attend a BC meet so people can drool at a safe distance over my car.

An 18 year old Adult....will wonders never ceese?
I did that once too when I was 24. It was as frivolous a move then as it is now.
From a performance standpoint, it is not easily justified.
From a "Gotta have em" point of view, maybe not.

Think twice about spending a small fortune on new wheels unless your present ones are warped, damaged or rusted beyond repair.

I lost a trip to Hawaii and a good woman over my frivolity.......ya but who wants to go to Hawaii. :P

Hawaii? Who would want to go to Hawaii, me personally I think Hawaii is overused. I prefer the East Coast and Canada, but mostly Canada because of the very flexible speeding. Well I'm still flip-flopping between rims, I like the Inoxs but there'* something about them I don't quite like and I can't put my finger on it. I like the EM9 because it'* different. But don't worry, I'm still looking around for rims. You lost a woman? No biggie, there'* more fishes in the sea.

PS, I guess you could say my present rims are a pain to clean so I want to get rid of them. Warped? I don't think so. Rusted? They're aluminium. Damaged? No I'm too good of a driver.

Good for you if you decide to get those new wheels.
They will make you proud to drive your Bonne.

My only point was, regardless of what you might give up in lieu....trip, women, intercooler, trani rebuild.......the payback is not that great.

And remember in the end, it will always cost twice as much as you originally thought.

Yeah I see what you're saying, I do understand where you're coming from. I don't quite understand the twice at the end thing...

I found this one rim that I really like, it is the one I really want and I thought it was only available in 17 but I found out it'* avail in 16, thank god.

Women? They're an anchor, I would rather wait until I finish college. Trip? That'* what parents are for. Intercooler? I need a supercharger before I need a intercooler. Tranny Rebuild? If it breaks, I'll have money saved up for that reason only.

paul, the whole issue is where does he want to see the car in 2 or 10 years when he is done playing with it, does he want it to go fast or look good... ? if he wants it to go fast, then the wheels are a waste, if he wants it to look good, than the wheels are a great start
