Default Goo Gone on tinted windows?

Has anyone ever used Goo Gone on their tinted windows? Will this cause ill effects to the tint?

I know I could just try a corner, but don't want any peeling to start and be a big problem later.

I would guess it would be ok, but wondering if any has done it..?

the bigger question is why do you want to use that on your Tint?

Yeah, still have some stuff from a dealer sticker. It'* been there since I got it. It'* on my driver side rear, and I was looking to merge and saw it again. I figured after 3 years it'd be about time to get rid of it...

check to see if it has ammonia in it, if so don't use it

I have stuff called Krud kutter, it does not contain petroleum solvents, bleach or Ammonia
it may work, goo gone might contain these since it'* a weaker version of Goof Off

I don't think there is ammonia in it. I know that'* death to tint. I'll double check, and see what happens.

Nevermind... Just found this online:

1. Can I use Goo Gone to remove tar, stickers, grease off my car?

Goo Gone is safe on your car exterior, using instructions for hard surfaces. It'* safe on your upholstery and carpeting, using the instructions for carpeting. It'* safe on the vinyl and glass, but may remove the tint from the tinted side of windows.
