Default Spring Wheel Cleaning Really Needed!

The rims were nasty and were way overdue for a proper cleaning!
I used Simoniz heavy duty Rim Cleaner because I had heavy duty stains & Rust forming...

I sprayed the cleaner on let in soak in and had to use a scrubb pad with my fingers into all the grooves in these mags..PITA !
Anyways after power washing, this is now how they look...

OK I did wash & quick wax ..the rest of the Pk Ave as well!!

The stuff works great is right Justin, I was not expecting the wheels to be like new again!
& Mike I wish we did live closer, I probably be over many weekends asking..what are we working on this weekend...I'd even bring more beer! LOL..
Anyways, I got to detailing the "other ride" 4x4 which has Chrome Wheels and I have to say the Simoniz worked fantastic on them as well! (better than expected considering how bad the chromes really was)

This is pretty strong stuff & you should with any wheel cleaner do a small spot test on your mag to ensure it is not going to damage them.
Always read the fine print on your cleaner as well. I think this one would remove paint..LOL..

Tried to find info on the Warnings for the product in case any others need the info, this was all I could find.

CAUTION: Do not use on warm or hot surfaces or in a direct sunlight. Do not allow product to dry on surface. Do not apply to wheels with cracked or peeling clear coat as product may discolour wheels. Do not apply to Polished
Aluminum, Anodized, or Aftermarket wheels as it may result in a dull mat finish.

Thanks for posting the Caution remarks. I believe its acid base that is why it ain't safe with other wheel finish.
