Emblem / Moudling Removal
Is it possible to remove the Pontiac emblem and right and left side chrome moulding on a 2000 SE bumper cover to reuse on a new bumper cover? Are they just taped on or do they have tabs? Trying to save some bucks if I can.

Is it as simple as peeling it off and using double-sided tape to reapply? The body shop was telling me it wouldn't work very well.

It'* worth a shot since the old bumper cover will be trashed anyways. If it doesn't work, the Pontiac emblem will look good on my garage wall. :P

There'* a special tape to use. I'll look up the name right quick.
EDIT: I only described it as weatherproof Double-Sided foam tape. I'm not sure of the brand, but 3M seems to be right.
