or the most costly option become a smoker and enjoy it. LOL a good upholstry cleaner works well. I used Blue Coral upholstry clean only because it was buy one get one free. I didnt have smoke smell to begin with but it had some smells due to not being cleaned for a while. I got to remove the smell and clean my carpets/upholstry at the time.

The problem with stuff like febreeze and other cleaners IS you are not removing the smell only masking it. I'm not saying don't use it do what you want to do but don't think for one second on the next hot and humid day when your windows are jacked up that it'* not going to come back.

With the solution I posted you will actually clean it and I goofed on the mix its equal parts water ammonia/alcohol(rubbing)/water my bad I had to dig a little

you will notice when you start wiping your rag will turn yellowish brown thats all the chit from the smoke... Maybe if its not raining tomorrow I'll mix some up and do my headliner ( I smoke in my car but not much ) you will see it cleans and deodorizes.

Before I sold out to my partner we had contracts with 5 major dealerships... I had a Jeep Cherokee come in that had been totally trashed smelled as if someone had died in it.. I tried everything from a air extraction machine to sprays to coffee nothing worked even left some burning cigars in it finally did the smoke treatment sprayed my mix through out the entire interior. went as far as removing the seats carpet dash(nightmare) all the trim basically disassembled the whole interior. 4 days later and 2 Interior specialists later My mix got it on the lot and sold with in a week.
