I'm trying to think of something else to do with my grill. Right now It looks like this:

I was thinking about taking all that out and welding two diagonal strips of metal down beside the head lights. I would of course, gind down the welds, smooth it out with some light weight puddy, and support these stips. Then I want to put a billet grill in between.
I would just buy a billet grill like the one below or anything larger and cut it down.

It would kind of look like this grill BUT it wouldn't have a thick chrome outline just the billet lines arcoss.

What do you think?

I like the look. Maybe consider trying to get an emblem in there somehow. That would give it the original factory look.

Looks kinda bland as is. A big old Pontiac dart in the middle would help (I think).

Good work so far, tho!

It has a Cefiro (European version of the I30) grill and headlights.

Nice. Do you think you could you run two strips of metal down beside the grill?

Couple weeks ago in school I saw a 00+ ssei that had a grille like the one you showed. Car was all hooked up but it wasn't parked so I couldnt take pics.. nicest bonnie I've ever seen.

Anyway back to this, not a prefect shopjob but helps you get the idea.

Thanks XKalibuR for all the photoshoppin.
I was thinking about a dart but I think it would seem out of place on my car. I'm not going to have any other badge on it.
I took the first pic in your last post and hacked it up in paint a little. I want to have the hood flow down beside the grill. I see alot of maximas with aftermarket grills that take these side peices out and it just dosen't look right in my opinion.
Heres the pic I played with:

It'* pretty plain but when it'* done I think it will look simple and clean.
