i'm a proud user of Wax-as-u-dry and it does WONDERS and saves butt loads of time however, its effectiveness is due to my dark green paint. i'm sure ona lighter paint its not as noticeable. ...to answer your question, i'm sure that rain-x stuff does about the same effect.
