Default carpet

So I was cleaning my car today and really got into vacumming it REAL REAL good. When I was looking under the seats and even some other spots that show ( only if you already know you can tell ) the carpet is kinda crappy. I was wondering if anyone here has ever replaced their carpet in there car? How hard was it? What all is needed? Where did you get your carpet from? and most importantly how did you do it?

I have. It is not hard. What is needed? umm, new carpet? I got mine from the dealer. It is not cheap. The front section is over $300, while the rear is just under $200. I replaced the rear section only. You need to remove the entire interior basically: all seats, B pillar trim, and the lower sills, center console, etc...

What was that paint you used under the carpet called? and where did you get that? May won't it just incase theres rust...which there prob is...

And yea that was kinda a dumb question asking what all is needed..lol
