Window tinting
I was thinking of putting some tint on the bonne. Has anyone here ever used any of the DIY tint? Does it work well and last a long time? Or am I better off getting it professionally done?

i did it myself, and looks good.....some will chime in here that have seen my car...you wouldnt be able to tell just by looking at it....there a few spots, but you can get that with a professional installation.....you MUST have patience to do this.....i pulled all of my roll down windows out of the car to make it easier....and yes i did the rear window myself all in one piece

I'd leave mine to the pros as well... Helped my brother do it on one of his vehicles and thought I was going to go nuts... just don't have the patients for it.

I was thinking of doing it myself also, but still not sure. As for patients, you sometimes need a lot of that just working on our cars.

If u do this yourself all I can say is use lots of liquid.....whatever that soapy stuff that u get to put it in with.....lots....makes it much easier....cause once it down it'* down!!!

idk about DIY but i do know that mine looks like poop. the rear window is starting to mess up.....so im gonna try to take a squigie and fix it but i will prob need to have to pulled and retinted witch is gonna be expensive.....

As for DIY window tinting, it can be done, but it can turn expensive in a hurry if you screw it up, so might as well leave it to the pros. Find a good shop that will stand behind their work.
The place I got mine done at was recommended to me by a friend, but now that I think about it, I have no idea if they have any sort of warranty...but luckily I havent had to worry about it, as it still looks great.
