Liquid Glass 1st Timer
I went and bought some Liquid Glass today.
I didn't have time to claybar the entire car to get rid of all the old wax and crud, so I just washed off the hood and did it on there. My hood was repainted about 2 months ago so there is no wax on it or anything.
I applied a light coat, waited a few minutes, and then buffed it off. I'll let it sit overnight and tomorrow I'll clean it off and add a couple more coats. So far I am impressed with it. The finish already feels very smooth compared to the rest of the body.
My only question is, when I applied, I only used a little bit. It seemed like not much was getting on the car. From what I've read on here and in the directions, you don't need to use a lot, and a little goes a long way. So when I'm applying it and don't really see much going on, am I still doing it correctly?

You don't need alot of it at all. Just enough to give it a bit of a haze. I swore by the stuff until 95SLE hooked me on Zaino.

Basic pointers:
Dawn dish soap to strip the car (or clay bar, or both).
Apply a LITTLE back and forth, not circular swirls.
Buff off (easy to do). Do the GLASS also. All windows and mirrors. Wait 4 hours between coats, I like to wait a full day.
It WILL look better after it bakes on. One can will last 2 years for both of my cars AND Kim'* Neon.
