Default custom spoiler for a 95 (step by step 2nd part)

I want to make the spoiler biger & make it more racing looking. This will be done in fiberglass, but first I had to do the mold to create the shape. I used the foam card board that you buy at school suplies, I got mime at Office Max. To glue it I used a hot glue gun.

First I traced the spoiler to the board. Used the back of the spoiler to create both lines & the edge part was freehanded.

Then I cut the part with an exacto knife.

Created a duplicate with the part I had done before. Thats both sides.

Hmmmm.... This could get interesting. Can't wait to see what you have planned.

I've often thought of rasing mine no more than about a 1/2 inch, mostly to keep crap from getting stuck under it

Next step was to cut the parts in to pices. I numbered the parts before cutting them, makes it easier.

I shaped every pice to match the part of the spoiler where it goes, then it gets glued.

Dont know if you can tell but it follows the contour of the spoiler & it points upward at the center.

This is all for now. Next is to cover it in the mesh & pour th fiberglass.
But you get an idea of the final product.
Didnt want to go too crazy with the spoiler, I think it matches the lines of the car.

This is the easy part just lay the mat over...

& pour the fiberglass mix over.

After it was dry I pulled it out & ripped all of the cardboard out. (I covered the hole spoiler with that plastic wrap that you have in the kitchen. So that the the fiberglass wont stick. Dont tell my wife.)

Dont know if you can tell by the pics, but the new pice sticks out about 2 inches back.
