Yes, the orange peel in the paint on that door is pretty severe.

Slightly off-topic, but when was that repainted, and why? Got a carfax on it yet?

I have the paper work on why is was repainted under warranty.... there were a few spots where the paint was thin and Orange Peel they re painted the doors fenders and trunk lid.. the cost to repaint $5000.00 was given to them. It'* worse now then when they started I'm not stupid and know that It needs a complete repaint as well I took the car to 7 or 8 reputable painters who all say the same thing. When the bdy shop manager was confronted as to the runs inside the doors he said (we Didn't paint inside the doors) I asked why they removed the stickers then (Oh yeah we did) then asked why the trim wasn't removed (yeah we removed it) showed the sand lines and dry spots on the cladding and under the spoiler (I'm not sure why) The did a fast job likely with someone in the booth that either was new or just didnt give a damn. Tony at Select Autobody here in town has given me an estimate and a letter (He just beat up GM in court for another customer having the same problems) So I have to see the rep sometime between now and the second week of June to see where we go from here.

I also had the chance to speak to the original Owner (He got rid of the car due to the constant run around from GM and the Paint issue was the final straw)
The other funny part was when I asked if all the window trim was replaced I was told yes by that guy (Then I showed him the nice blue over spray on the front and rear window trim) lol

He wants to Wet sand and polish but with the severity of the OP in the base thets not going to do to much at all.
