Temporary Car Paint and nose shield
Anybody seen this stuff yet?

Sounds like fun, but I'm not brave enough to try it on my paintjob. At least it'* from a major name in touch-up paint....who'* going to try it?

So it'* a good idea in theory, I think. Could have many uses, but like you, I am not going to be the tester. Bet it'* expensive too.

Comes in clear or black. This might be nice protection for the driving vacation or winter, but only if it really comes off without marring the paint at all. This i might actually try on the wifes truck, to see how it reacts to the paint over a extended period of time. (she'* due for a repaint of the nose anyways)

It'* a plastic film like window tint, but clear. It comes in different thickness' 3, 6 & 9 Mil.
You can wax right over it and it protects your paint from stone chips etc.
I learned about it from a friend who had a sponsored show car & it was his daily driver as well. He swore by it and wanted to wrap his whole car in it, but it is expensive, around $200-$300 (Canadian $) to do the Front of the hood, bumper & skirt.
Personally I would rather use the film, than trust a paint which may or may not come off.
