Default Couple Light Changes

1st off i know that more than likely someone on here has done it and that it is possible. im thinking about switching my taillights out for a SSE. how easy is the swap? also. my front left foglight housing needs to get replaced because of a huge hole that was cracked in it. anybody know how i would go about doing that? Anybody with knowledge feel free to give it. Thanks

SSE tails are a direct swap, but it'* very hard to find them in good/non-delaminated condition. Try posting in the "Wanted" section to see if anyone can help you out. Same goes for the fog light. Otherwise you could just upgrade to an aftermarket model like Cyberwhites.

I think you can get them at Walmart for around 25 bucks. Search around here for "aftermarket foglights" to get more ideas too.

not to sound in the stone-age here but what do you mean by delaminated condition for the taillights?

SSE/1 tails from 87-95 have tint (or whatever it is) on the light for a cooler look. But theres a common problem with the tails delaminating.

Someoen can explain it better for you...

There is no tint. They are clear lenses with black bars across them. Delamination occurs when the lens layers seperate due to water damage. The taillight tint techinfo article shows this.

for the headlights, how do you convert the high beam to fit into the low beam side?
