Default micro-fiber wax applicators

I picked up a couple of these on my way home this afternoon. How well do they work just out of curiosity before I go to use them. I'm used to using the sponge type applicators. They seem like they'd apply the wax a lot smoother... just curious.

they work pretty good.. I never really found a difference between the 2 only the $$

I always dampen them first find it helps to spread the wax out a little.

Same here, no real difference in performance. I would say I prefer the sponge type applicator though because with the nap of the microfiber applicator the wax cakes up more which in turn wastes more wax.

I like them, I use them when putting on a coat of Scratch X or 3M rubbing compound. But for the final waxing I use sponge.

I don't plan on using them for a while. I just waxed it this last weekend so no sense in doing it again for a little while at least.

I use the micro-fiber cloth to wipe the wax off, too, that'* why I bought the applicators.

GXP_Vince, that'* the truth. I wax my car whenever I get bored.

Chris:
We used a microfiber applicator to apply Zaino on Ryans, Crash93SSEI, beautiful red Bonny last night at NEBF and I did not see any problems using microfiber rather than a cotton applicator.
