anybody tried one of these yet? ~~~ if so, how much of a project is it?

It would help to know what year and trim level you have to make sure it'll fit. There are several cluster layouts in our cars. Please put your year and trim level in your signature.

We have one of those running here. I personally don't like the end look.

the ad says it fits 1992-1998 bonnevilles ~~~ available in brush aluminum, chrome, and stainless steel

no slack here! ~~~ i'm a noobie and it'* my 1st post

just inherited a 1999 bonneville SLE with 40k and have just put my first 500 miles on it ~~~ still learning the car

I don't recall a difference between the 98 and 99 SLE cluster, but you might want to compare very carefully.

The pics of the install are here somewhere, but I don't remember who did it.

thanks for the link ~~~~ mixed bag of responses to this, i think all the angle cuts ruin the overall flow of the brush look ~~~ nice to see the look on a real car though

the instrument panel needs something to break up all that black expanse

btw ~~~ been lurking for awhile and really have enjoyed your site

Consider painting the overlay a neutral or in-between color.

Bill what would you say for a tan interior??.....how bout a carbon fiber overlay...something like Haro did....

Photochop it first.

I was thinking more along the lines of a Gray. To transition from the black that'* still exposed more gradually instead of the major contrast.

Consider a FLAT paint so you don't get glare during the day.

im not a fan of the metal look. if someone offered a white face gauge package id and im sure others would be all over it.
