tinting tails
I've noticed whenever I've seen pics of tinted taillights, the reverse lights are never tinted. Is this just personal preference, or is there some law regarding this? I'd like to tint my tails but if I'm gonna do it, I want to do the whole thing.

Personal preference. Every set I've tinted (a couple of my own, another set in the works, Jseabert'*, driverjohn'*, EK98'*) I've left it untinted for that little bit of extra visibility. The tinted windows do have an effect also.
The set I'm doing now, I'll mask off the reverse lights, then unmask them for the final coat, leaving just a hint of tint there. The effect shouldn't block more than 1-2% of the light.
I run halogen reverse lights on the Zilla anyway.

while will is right, i was pulled over for window tinting and the cop threw in about my tinted tails and sternly warned me [after i said i thought they came that way, it was that way when i bought it, but i had noticed other bonnevilles looked a little different and i thought maybe mine was just special edition or something] that if he saw the tinted tails again, hed write me up so fast itd make my head spin.

I have never even been questioned about my tails because I left the reverse lights untinted. The SSEi'* from 92-95 had 'half tinted' factory tails to begin with, so they're overlooked. The factory reverse is the key to success.

Hrm, I may not tint mine at all then. If I were to tint them I'd want to go all or nothing, but I don't want to get stopped and get in trouble for it.
