Ideas for Tint??

Michigan is a weird one. Only the top 4 inches of the windshield and front side windows can be tinted, you can use any tint regardless of VLT. The law was altered By the efforts of the State Police Lobby stating strong concerns it had for Officer safety. So expect to find alot of enforcement of that on the highway.
The back side windows and the rear window may be completely tinted and no restrictions of VLT there either. You can use black spray paint and black them out if you cared to. When this tint reaches a point where vision is affected, dual mirrors are required. This isnt an issue with most modern cars.

As I'm going to be a police officer one day, I second the law! I hate it when people have tinted front windows. When I'm a cop and I see that, I would immediately pull him over (with caution of course). Although my alley light should be able to see through the tint in the back I still would be worried if they had a gun or some kind of weapon underneath them.

OK number one its definitely not a distraction. You can see perfectly out your windows. It reduces heat which is big so who knows where you are coming from. Dude just get the tint. It makes your car look sharp.
