So far all I can say is go to a junk yard and get replacement taillights, but a pic would be really helpful to everyone.

There'* really no way to fix the busted lense short of replacing it. If you can find them in a yard you can take the entire tailight assembly. (note..the bulb and socket arrangement varies year by year, so take the wiring and sockets too!)

There'* also a fellow on ebay selling N.O.*. lenses. Problem is that nobody has both sides of the same style. Replacing the lense on your housing is not difficult, the plastic cover is held on with clips & tabs, and sealed up with rubber sealant on the seam. I used silicone bathroom caulk as the sealant on mine.

When i had my 89 SSE, i took a dremel and cleaned up the edges all the way around the lens... just took off the busted up clear cover. Then, I took black pinstripe and, with a steady hand, I lined the lenses like the original. It looked pretty good - at least better than just he plain inner lens. Try it if you can't find lights in the JY. If it doesn't look right, all you are out is time and a few bucks for pinstripe!
