Wheel/rim cleaning
What'* the best way and product to use for wheel and rim cleaning, particularly for the brake dust on the wheels up front?
Also, what type of cloth or brush should I use so I don't cause any damage the rim?
Many thanks!

Most any wheel cleaner. If it'* baked on good it will take a lot of elbow grease. A used clay bar works pretty well. On my chrome wheels I found that chrome polish is the best so far to get what'* left after I clean them.

On my chromes it comes off easy with Mothers Chrome Polish. ( I'm a big Meguairs fan but prefer the other for their chrome polish. I've gently tried alot of things for the stock painted Pontiac wheels when they are on. The easiest I've found is a powder I get at Lowe'* called Iron Out. I mix a thin slurry with water and use a toothbrush,...... and don't tell my wife it'* hers I'm using.

I used a can of Turtle Wax chrome polish from Wal Mart ($1.97) and put it on, let it sit for a few minutes, then rubbed it all off really good. They shined like showroom floor new!
