have you considered black for the valve covers. it would give a good contrast against the orange and also go with the UIM. and wouldn't be too much work if the block is on the stand. i think that would look sweet. its just a little too much orange for me. but if you like it, thats all that matters.
what have you got planned for the egr?

Well the thing is, allmost all of the engine is going to be hidden when its in the car and all the hoses and wires are on. Im painting the UIM silver and all the aluminum parts will be silver as well. The EGR is black. Thats it for orange, everythign else will be silver or black. Im putting black pinstriping on the covers in the grooves too. Originally I wanted red but the paint kit that I bought didnt come in a red that I liked.

The 90 originally had an egr, the only differance is that it went from the rear manifold instead of the front. Im using the stock computer as well.

but the bases are different though. and the 90 ecu cant control a linear egr that the 94-95s had.
idk if you have that worked out already, but if the 90 was a 3 solenoid, digital egr, you may be able to use a 92-93 L67 egr plate.

Right, well that could be a bit of a problem then... I didnt realize that they were differant. I have both EGRs so maybe ill have to fab a custom plate up. I dont really know anything about EGRs.
