help..cant see thru my windshield at night or rain....
o.k so its been like this for a while now.. since i owned the car.. ( the 95 se).
at night when i drive and when ever a car comes towards me from the oppisote direction.. meaning his headlights facing my windshielf then i cant see at all.. my winshield gets very blurry and i really donyt see nothing but the glare from there ligts so i immediatly slow down till the cars pass.... and also when its raining i cant see the lines on the floor in the road... ...
i tried rain x spray rain x wipes
i tried 3 different kind of glass cleaners and it seems like it gets worse.. i even pressure washed my windshield several times and still nothing.... im getting scared to drive in the night time...
is it possible before i bought the car someone has put something on the window..
and is there anything i can try to put on it to help me clean it or see thru the window
or anything i can do at all... does anyone else ever had this problem....
i dont want to replace the windshield....... thanks in advance...

I had a problem like that AFTER I put RainX on. It got better once I got all the crap off of the windshield. I had similar problems in my Bonneville and I think it'* just the angle that the windshield is at. Try adjusting your seat height.

are you sure it'* not on the inside of the windshield. If the last person smoked a lot in the car, the window could have smokers film on it.

I agree, use a good glass cleaner like Stoners on the inside to make sure it isn't there. Then you might want to try a light glass polish. I've never used one, so I can't recommend anything though. Beyond that I'm not sure. I've driven in my convertible at night and it'* pitted like crap being a 40 year old windshield and I've never had any problems. Actually, thinking about it now, I wonder if someone already tried polishing the windshield and messed it up? I've read threads before about polishing glass and people have said to be careful with doing heavy polishing on a windshield because it will really distort the glass since it'* not flat.

pitting will cause horrible glare. every little pit is a prism, bending the incoming light in all directions.

I'd say there is a really good chance that is your problem.
Smoking is not good for you in more ways than one.
