I'm planing on taking my Bonneville emblem off the trunk but don't know exactly what to use to take it off or clean. My friend used floss on taking his badges off his car and just soap and water...Is that right?

Dental floss or a soft plastic bondo spreader.

Then Goof-off or WD-40 for the adhesive, then soap and water, then polish and wax.

fishing line also does the trick, you can also use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive first and finish it up with what was previously stated....wd40 or goof off
