Headlight cleaning
Didn't see this answered anywhere.... Has anyone ever cleaned their front headlight assemblies? My car got tagged and the body shop replaced the driver side assembly with a new one (made in Taiwan so its missing the alignment adjuster) that is clean and clear. My P-side however is fogged from dirt (guess it gets in through the heat venting tubes?). I was afraid to try and remove the lens cover because the plastic tabs look delicate. Anyone have a method for this? They really look great when they are clear...
Thank you,

There'* really no way to clean the lexan. Go back to the body shop, maybe they can do a deal on a new right side headlamp assembly.

Or you can remove the assembly, And then all the lights, Blow it out with a air line...
or check out this link

and since you have a 00+ Bonneville why not pull them apart clear your corners and polish the insides.

i used a dremel with a polishing wheel and some mequire'* headlight cleaner....not perfect but 100% better than before
use a low rpm setting and be very careful not to overheat the wheel
