Angry Hail Storm from Hell..

Just a note of Hail Storms here in Greenville, SC yesterday afternoon. My 2000 SSEi was pelted all across the top like a ball pien hammer worked on it. Hopefully some real good paintless dentremovers will come to town to clean up. My buddy'* new Hemi Charger got the same treatment. I guess a larger garage would have been nice. My track and Harley were out of it. I wasn't home and was in the 1997 Bonne, but the hail didn't really do anything to it. When I got home, the 2000 had been hit hard. Such is life :o(

I have never tried it, but have heard that if you take dry ice and touch teh dent it will pop back out. Always wanted to find out.

Yeah, I called and first asked had they had any Hail Damage calls, she replied about 1,500. I replied make that 1,501. She said I have $1000.00 deductible on comprehensive. I'm sure it will be over that amount though.

Man I am sorry about that luck. I hope that I don't run into that kind of luck this summer (we have a severe thunderstorm about every week all with hail in different sizes). I have heard that about the dry ice. I am thinking about trying it on my Plymouth(it got hit by baseball size hail a few years ago. The metal is thick, but that sure got it to dent LOL) I hope everything works out okay.

FYI.......Insurance Agent here.......LOWER YOUR COMP DEDUCTIBLE!! If you reduce to like $100 or even $250......less out your pocket when damage occurs and you may see your policy increase like $25.00 over the term. Comp is such a cheap coverage. Sorry to hear about your loss!

We have used www.dentwizard.com. Should be local and very reasonable. May be able to fix your car for less than your deductable.

Bummer! I drove through a hail storm today, but the size of the hail was pretty small and didn't cause any damage.

Hopefully you can get it repaired to pre hail damage! Keep us informed on how this issue.

Throw some pictures up if you can as well.

That'* why I'm glad we didn't get any hail this winter here. I know I have a 0% chance at my car ever being parked overnight in the garage.
