I am the one who had the White/Gold theme idea going on, i had the spare parts that i painted to see if i liked it, like the black trim on the side moldings, i painted it but never took a pic, i'll post that here sunday or monday.
though if i did the gold trim around the car, everything else black should probably go gold, except the window trim stuff, so yeah we'll see. I need to get some plastic gold paint, that paint was for metals, its gonna crack like crazy in the sun

I like it, it'* not too obvious, plus your car has gold trim in certain places, not to mention, the average person who don't know the history of your car would never notice the difference in the shades.
