Finish Coming Off!
I have a spot right near the tape player where the top coat or finish has peeled off. It'* about a quarter of an inch and I'm wondering what to use to fix it. I'd like something in the same tan color so it would match but overall I just want to seal it and protect it from spreading. It'* really dark brown underneath and my brother said he thought it was metal. Any ideas or reasons for the problem and how to correct it? Thanks!

the only thing you could do is sand it down and re-paint it, but it would take some serious painting talent to make it look good. i would suggest buying a new one

Thanks for the help. That is the right color. Does it come in any other colors? How do you know what color the part is on gmpartsdirect.com? I think I might try to sand and repaint first, though. Can't hurt to try...
