Default Adding a BM or Hurst Race Shifter...

Has anyone ever put in a BM or Hurst race shifter for a 97 SSE (NON-SC) Bonnie? Im curious because im interested in putting on in my car. Only thing on my button display is traction control..... any help would be appreciated.

Bad link, but I know the car. It was a 92SSEi owned by Jeffrey10x2, who is no longer a member here.

I don't see the point in doing it, personally. There'* no performance benefit whatsoever, and it takes a TON of fabrication to get it to work. Not to mention cost.

I for one have always thought it would look cool, but since I have the column shifter it'* never been an option for me.Thought I might do it if I picked up a bonne that had the console shifter,but if it'* really all that work...........

I have the roundish shifter not the t bar leather one.. i was wondering if i could buy something to edit this. Its kind of a weird shifter and im not to found of the middle button to pull up to shift. Is there anyway i can buy something after market to fit over and replace this old round shifter?
