Default Bumper modifying for exhaust

I see that on some people'* cars here, the dual exhaust cuts into the bumper slightly. Is cutting and shaping the bumper in this way hard?

Haha it probably did. I thought it was an SSE when I first got it, later found out it wasn't. Just forgot to change the sig

The SSE and SSEi of your year were already cut out, as the rear skirt and front fascia are lower. Out of necessity.

Later years SLE was also this way.

I'm not entirely sure what that means for me, but I decided to check behind the bumper today, plotting where the tips would be, and I noticed that the entire bumper is solid metal behind the rubber, meaning that it wouldn't actually be legal for me to mod the bumper to allow for chrome tips to come straight out.

Disappointing really, but if anyone here has any suggestions, I'd be happy to take them.

What you need is a reinforcement and cover from a 92 to 95 sse or ssei
Sorry I just sold mine

To be perfectly honest, that went in one ear right out the other. I have no idea what that means

Sorry for being so inexperienced, this is really my first car I've actually owned that I had a desire/ability to mod (my last car was a 1988 Camry)

From 1992 until 1995 the body style was the same. There were different trim packages.
The plain Jane and se like yours were one package and the sse ssei were another. The sse and ssei are the same and have the notches in the rear cover for dual exhaust as that is how the cars came from the factory. The others had single exhaust and didn't come straight out the back so no need to notch the bumper cover.
Watch ebay call the local wrecker (junk yard) you will find one just takes time.

Here are the differences white = sse green = se
Pictures were taken from auctions on ebay that aren't mine or anyone I know.
