Euro-Grille Advice
Can someone give me a play-by-play on how they did their Euro-grille? I've got the material but am just trying to figure out the best way to go about it and end up with a nice finished look.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well, there was a silver 02+ SE on here who had done a nice job with it. That'* basically what I'm looking for. I can't recall his name. I'm sure someone will know. I think it starts with an "M."

Ok..well..Gumbo I think attached his new to the current plastic mesh..
I attached mine to my existing grill because it'* black. However..I used small vac tubing to border my grill to keep it from scratching the paint.

He also did the lower part of the bumper.
unfortunately Mike had to trade in his Bonnie for something that was better suited for his Job.
Haven't heard from him since.
so remove the grills and climb under to see what you can attach it to.

Yah, I've had the grille out a few times looking things over (and breaking some tabs off of course!). It sounds like some people actually leave the original grille in place and just put the new stuff over it? I was looking to replace it entirely with the new "mesh."

My material isn't very heavy so I'm thinking I can mould it around and behind the chrome perimeter and attach to the original tabs somehow and then finish it off with zip ties (they'll be hidden behind the chrome perimeter). I'll keep at it and let you guys know. I may try to locate a second grille to experiment with first. Let me know if anybody has one for sale or knows where they can get a cheap, used one in ANY condition.

im thinking about doing the same thing..., just dont know what material i wana use and where to get it....i would have just painted my griller but the car isn't under my name yet and dad thinks the white grille would be tacky....which is why he painted it black
