Is there anything that will give a clean fresh dark look to tires without making them shiney other than a good scrubbing when washing??????

Why dont you try putting some tire shine on, and then wipe most of it off? Might keep it from looking greasy and overly wet, but leave a black shine. I would just try it on 1 tire, and if it doesnt work, wipe it all off.

There'* a sure fire way to clean your rubber and make it nice and black again.

Get a gong brush..or hard bristle brush....wet tire and use cleanser (I like Comet) scrub w/brush...they come nice and clean.

When ever I wash my car ( I always use Turtle Wax'* Zip Wax ) I scrub the tires down real good with the soapy water I just used to wash my car with. And they always have a deep no shine look for a few days afterward.

Best thing is Wesley'* Bleach White. Scrub the tires really good with it using a Scotch Brite pad. Gets the tires really clean with no shine.
