What'* best for cleaning the exhaust/tailpipe tips on a 2000 SSEi... haven't tried anything yet but wondered what we've all used and what your thoughts are...

Those are hard to keep clean. Even mine were hard to keep looking half-way decent (before I painted them), and they aren't even attached to my exhaust pipes. I'd clean them up and prime and paint them to make them look better. Mine have held up perfectly through the salt and crap of winter here.

I got tired of cleaning mine, and painted them with black oven/barbeque paint. Flat black. I prefer the stealth mode now.

Nice Will! As much as I like my stealth look, I would like to replace my tips with some dual round ones and paint those gold. :pimp:

Nice touch. Looks great on your Bonneville. I am getting ready to either have my tips polished or chromed. Right now I am leaning towards polished then clear coating the tips.

Don't spend the money to chrome them. If you want chrome, go buy some for cheaper and get what you like!
