Not sure if this belongs in this thread, but i'll give it a shot.
Can the center caps that say ABS on my 99 SE'* wheels be removed?

You can take them. They take mine off when I got the tires mounted and balanced. If you take them off what are you going to fill the hole with?

Pop them out from behind. Remove the wheel and it'* easy.

Remove the wheel first and than pop them out from the back.
Just making this clear as glass. LOL

You can also pop them off front the front with two small flat screwdrivers. You risk screwing up the finish on your wheels though

ok thanks! I was hoping to replace them with perhaps newer ones that say pontiac on them, if they would fit.

Just make sure you get caps off of another Bonneville, Grand Prix or 99+ Grand Am. There are different size caps to make the different bolt proportional. The cars I listed all have the 5x115 bolt pattern and the same size center caps
