Does anyone know...
How many coats of primer, base coat, and clear coat my 93 Bonneville would of had applied stock? Reason I ask, I might be having some body work done here soon to it, and I would like to quiz up the shop that will be doing the work. Client of ours at work, his labour rates are way lower, and he does TONS of custom chop jobs, restorations..that kinda thing..not that i want anything custom..I am just inrested in making it perfect once again.
Thank you!
Thank you!

I drove out to the shop today for a estimate. He garunteed me he could match the paint 100%, and if i was not satisfied, he does not expect me to pay him one penny, seems very honest, he also showed me pictures of alot of restoration projects he has done at his shop, very impressive work. He said sometimes its nice to take a break and so a small little job like this cause sometimes he has a car for 6 months that he is restoring..he said u could compare it to long term babysitting
My spoilers paint is bad as well, he noticed that, said he would just go ahead and do that for me.
I buy the paint, 1 litre. He has all the Clearcoating..Dupont clear dupont paint.
He said, Primer..two coats of the paint, three coats of clear, then he wet sands, polishes and goes from there. He garunteed me it will be beautiful once its done.
Im thinking of doing this in December..once im all caught up on everything else.
