Default Interior door lights.

The light in my left back door came out a while ago. It still works, but all the clips on the plastic light cover itself broke, so I epoxied that back on and that works fine. I tried to epoxy the entire light back into the door but that didn't hold at all. I'm not sure how it came out or how to put it back in. Heres a few pictures I took to help:

And here is how the other one looks:

Thanks for any help in advance!

Sucks the clips broke. Other than a new housing, try an adhesive that works better with vinyl. Super Glue and Epoxy arent on that list. Gorilla Glue, polyurethane adhesive, and Goop are better choices. Also a vinyl adhesive used in Vinyl guttering available at Lowes works well. I dont like Gorilla glue for only one reason, it expands and you have to watch for the expansion going where you dont want it. Goop (the clear one) is inexpensive and would be my first choice to try.

Goop, where might I find it?

Oh, another thing, considering how the white part plastic is broken on the left side of the light, is it going to be noticible when I put the light back in there? Is there something I can do?

It'* in the adhesive section at Lowes. There is a general purpose clear one, and a white one for sneakers. (Go for the clear LOL) the smoked cover is all that can be seen except for the two white tabs which look intact in your pics, so I think you'll be alright. Try not to get the adhesive beyond where the lense hits and use a light duty tape like the blue painters tape to hold it in place for a full day while it cures.

Yeah I tried using plain scotch tape to hold it in place last time. I don't know if its due to the vinyl or the cold weather but the tape did not stick at all.

My drivers side one kept popping out. I took some clear silicone and ran a thin bead around the inside edge and pushed it in place. Has not moved sense.
