Default Matching tricoat white paint

Anyone ever have any repair work done on the white tricoat paint with any success? I am getting so frustrated with my bodyshop trying to match the paint (with little success) on my '05 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, ideas to help out. Thanks!

All tricoat paints are composed of a basecoat followed by a tinted midcoat and finally clearcoat. They are impossible to match with a single application. They must get the 3 separate paints from GM and do them in sucession, or it just wont be the same.
