Plexiglass engine cover?

The idea was to cut and mold the plexiglass with a pontiac emblem and have a light behind it when the hood opened. More for show than for practicle use. Perhaps with a yellow star or something on the inside. I saw another member with one, thats what gave me the idea. He had red stripes on his to match his valve covers. Looked real good. Again it wouldnt be meant to cover the engine but rather to look good... I don't remember who the member was now Ill have to look it up.
