Anyone have road rash in front of rear wheels?
I've got what looks like tiny white flecks in the paint just in front of the rear wheels. Does anyone else get this, especially on their 00+ Bonneville? I'm guessing it'* minute chipping from road rash, but I've never seen it happen in front of the wheels. It'* not that noticeable unless it'* pointed out, but I know it'* there and it bugs me. I guess I'll put in some extra time there with the polisher and see if I can get it to look halfway decent.

I'd advise a set of splash gaurds for the front and rear, might cut down on the problem a bit....

I know 3M makes a plastic covering that acts like an invisible bra on the front of the car. I betcha that stuff might work well on the sideskirts

Yeah, I recently noticed I've got the same thing pretty bad on my driver side. Oddly its only about half as bad on the passenger side. I'm gonna go at it with the buffer this weekend hopefully. I'll let you know if I make any progress.

yup, muds flaps are about the best friend you have now, other than the paint shop.
Both the front and rear bumpers were repainted on my 99 and before I drive the car one inch I'm putting GM "PONTIAC" mud flaps on and not the flappy ones -they let too much by. These are the hard plastic ones that don't bend (much) and look awesome.
I had thought about having the body shop paint them, but make the 'PONTIAC' white lettering still visible, but I figured that'd be too much of an expense and they look great in black anyhow.
