I made the problem really big so others can see. Auto Zone is a store for Jerry Redneck to go to, not for any decent mechanic.

I once locked my keys in my old car at autozone, the manager offered me a hammer for my rear quarter panel window. They are "helpful" dh2

by the way, I went to the O'rileys, and no gel caps or red lightbulbs could be found, so I bought brake light lens repair kit and cut the shapes of each light cover, I can put up the pics tomorrow. $10 looks blood red inside!

Looking for quality LED lighting at those cheap five and dime autoparts stores is like going there for show quality wheels,.... and finding plastic spinner hubcaps. Sorry, but true and couldn't help myself. Try some internet searches for 'automotive LED lighting". There are some amazing new bulbs. Not that much money, or wait, to have some unique things for your car. I have this one Bookmarked. Tons of choices/sizes/applications. And more page links at the bottom of it.

Well yeah V, I don't go to O' Reilly for quality bulbs. I go there high quality repair parts for the things that matter. Engine, tranny, breaks...ya know that stuff. If I want other things, I go to a specialty shop.

I did this mod last month with bulbs from superbrightleds.com. Two 194'* (front floor), two 3022'* (rear overhead), two rigid loops (map lights), and eight 74'* (door step lights) are all you need. Total cost is around $20-$30 after shipping.

I'd like to get a light bar or something for the floor; I enjoyed driving around with the red 194'* in and on, and every other bulb removed. Red is a good interior light color for the Bonneville, as it matches the dash and radio color perfectly.
