Go out to your local auto parts store and see if they have one of these http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCT I was able to pick one up for about $6. To me it is the only way to go.

I removed the striping off my "new" parts for the rebuild of my '93 SSEi last year. Also yesterday, I removed the pin striping off of Darrel'* new truck, and then removed a dealer sticker / badge from JayGXP'* GXP. VERY fast, took about five minutes to completely remove the strip off the truck, seconds for the dealer sticker. No scratches or residue left either

I hate those stupid dealer sticker things. When I was a kid my dad bought a brand new 1994 Ford Bronco, it was the first vehicle he ever bought brand new, and he told the Ford dealer that he will not buy the truck if they put those damn stickers (and he also tells them he doesn't want the dealer license plate frames) on the truck. They agree, and he goes to the dealer, and guess what? Ya, they put one of those freaking stickers on the truck. ...on a side note, that was the first and last vechicle he ever bought from that dealer, and also the first and last Ford he ever bought.

Oh, and when I got the car half of the "V" in the V8 badge was missing... so I pulled the rest off... just gonna get it replaced soon. For some reason these retarded edge guard thingies were on the doors, killed those too, along with the Carmax sticker. Used some gunk remover stuff to get rid of the excess goo, but no luck with the pinstripes, they're too fragile to peel off in anything more than tiny pieces.
