Thinking.. yes. Doing.. don't know. I think it looks better with just the locks shaved. The thing I want to do is fab up a ton of cool stuff for the car.. from other cars. But, the problem with that is i'd need to paint her when i'm all said and done, which is detering me from doing it.

If you want to tinker, find a parts car for a hundred bucks or so, and mess around with the extras before you go crazy. Heck, just find one door first.
You don't want to make an irreversible change like that and decide that you don't like it.

I would recommend it if possible. The body mouldings on the bottom of the doors use plastic snap-in fasteners. There are these little recepticals in the door sheetmetal to receive these fasteners. The remind me of a plastic drywall anchor. I think it would be very hard to find these and even harder to install due to there not being much, if any, adjustments of the fasteners on the moundings.
I haven't got a detailed look of all of the mouldings in all of the doors, though. The passengers front moulding on my car pops out every so often so I was kinda able to see what'* going on behind there.

Its a plague.. the plastic on our cars is IMPOSSIBLE to find. I tried the covering up trick on PS on the black trim, and that looked horrible! That looked like something was missing! I know the LE has a different handle [thinner and looks fairly flimsy, and its all black], but I don't know about the SE if that has the same handle as I do. However, what I do know, is it would be cool to put '64 bonnie tails on my '89. That would really get people confused! And they would be MUCH easier to find then the 88-91 SSE tails, and probably a hell of a lot cheaper.
