Question Bucket seat swap and material question

Hi yall, happened upon this forum a few months ago and have been lurking for a while. I have a 96 SE that I absolutely love, but about a month ago my drivers seat back has started to come unlocked and will recline on it'* own if I put my back up against it. I first noticed this when I was at a drive thru getting my wallet out, I didn't think anything of it till I was drivin on the interstate and leaned back and went back with the seat about half to full recline, it does this randomly now and I don't feel it'* safe.

I I like the bucket seats that Optional in the bonnevilles but didn't want to have to give up my cloth interior, I live in the south and leather in the summer sucks plain and simple and since my bonne got booted outside to park everday the sun would destroy it. I recently discovered that you could get buckets in cloth and was wondering if they could have been ordered in the 96s blue cloth interior?

Also is it possible to convert from column shift to floor shift I I get the dash, cosole, seats, column, linkange, and all the wiring out if a bucket seat car?

Thank yall for all the information on this forum and the love of bonnevilles!
Me and my bonneville thank you

Converts have been done. Overall it is very easy and only a bit of time.

And yes..cloth seats in majestic teal were available, but ....they will be tough to find. Like any MT interior pieces.

thanks for the help I always wondered what the exact color code was for my interior.

I was afraid that my MT interioir would be hard to find parts for, had someone who owed me a favor install a new headliner for free break the passenger overhead pull bar and has been searching the past 6 months trying to find another MT piece to replace it. I've never seen another MT interior bonneville even though there are a lot of bonnevilles in my area.

One more question has swaping clusters say from my SE to a later (97-99) SSEi cluster ever been done? I had origionaly planned to put in a l67 and swap in a later 65HD trans wiring harness and PCM, but my 72 cutlass has decided to jump ahead in line with carily low oil pressure at idle :-/
