Thinking of changing rims...
I'm thinking of swapping my rims (ghetto golds 16") off the '94 (garaged for now) with my 17'*" on the 2000. The tread on the 2000'* RSA'* are almost bald and the 16"* have about 10-20 % tread wear on Eagle LS'*. Just thought I'd do it for the winter. I think they'll fit each other. Anyone ever driven a 2000 SSEi with 16'*? Wonder how it would affect the handling (just for the winter though). Any thoughts or comments??? New RSA'* are on the wish list for next spring.

16'* will be better for traction and road response, and a smoother ride as well. But they may make the already-topheavy 2000 seem worse in the corners.
They will bolt right up.

Do yourself a favor and don't get GoodYear Eagle RSA or LS'* -they are some of the worst tires I've ever experienced -the Goodyear Regatta 2 is a fairly decent tire, but I'm not sure they have the Regatta line anymore.
Some good tires for the $$ are BF Goodrich Traction T/A'*, Bridgestone Potenza'*, or even some Hankooks. All of the above are in the price range of the RSA and LS'*, but will wear better and provide better all-season traction as long as you aren't getting Z-speed rated tires ....keep to H or V rated tires unless you do alot of high speed driving -if you're into the triple digits very far then I'd suggest W or Z rated tires.
