Default Painted the brake calipers

While I am passing the time away at my in-laws house in Wyo I decided to make a break for it for the day and get something done. Since the weather is so great in Portland (sarcasm intended) and my dad has a detailing garage here, I decided to get the paint out and start spraying. $6 in paint and 8 hours later this is what I ended up with. And yes, I realize that my fenderwells need detailed out. Another day, another project without snow on the ground.

I belive it is DuPont Brake caliper paint. Rated for up to 500deg or something. Less than $7 at Napa auto parts. I got the inlays from http://www.Xenonmods.com.

Oh wow, that looks really cool! Just curious, did you apply multiple coats or just 1? And does it dry really glossy like that or is there some kinda gloss you have to apply over it?

Many coats and it should dry glossy.

I used a Duplicolor caliper paint.
Brush on. One coat. Dries smooth and shiny.

Mine was the spray on kind instead of brush. I used about 4-5 coats on each one and it dried the way you see it. I thought about getting a clear to encase the decals but I haven't really seen high temp clear out there very often.
