Hud ornament for my '85 Bonneville
The hud ornament on my '85 bonneville has been missing since I first got the car.
Now there'* only a dull hole where the ornament used to rest... I can't find it anywhere.
If anyone you know has an ornament for my car that likes to make a quick $100, please let me know!

Iceland!!! So THAT'* where that ol' Pontiac landed!!! Welcome, welcome, welcome. Here in North America the "Hud" is spelled Hood because we use HUD to mean "Heads Up Display" that is found on some of the newer Pontiacs. Maybe some of the other members might know of another site to find your missing Hood Ornament, but I would suggest looking at the Hemmings Motors site. Good Luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!
I had no luck ether on neither of those sites. :/
Actually there were originally four '85 Bonnevilles here in Iceland... Two of them are now a wreck of some sort or another. One just disapeared without a trace, and the other is a black one that HAS an hood ornament, but there are no lisence plates on the car so I can't locate the owner and I can't just ripp the ornament off because then I won't be able to put it back on mine (attatch-thingy will break). This car disapears for a few weeks, but the it reapears after a few weeks in a totally different location. I tryed locating the owner manually by ringing ALL the doorbells near the car'* location and asking about the car but no luck. I last saw this car a few months ago rusting down with a police warnig stuck to it'* window saying that this car should be removed before (date was expired weeks ago), or the car will be taken and destroyed or something. :(
I knew about the hud thing... Just been playing this old fighter jet game a little too much, I think. :P
Oh, by the way, I don't look at my car as a classic car... I think a car has to be at least 25 years old to earn that title, but this BB board says it'* for cars older than '86. I plan to have this car at least for 15 more years.

I found one!!!
I found one at e-bay... It'* not like I haven't searched there for like 500 times, but I decided to give it a one more go. The mounting base of the ornament is missing, though but the guy says that he can probably get one with a base for me.
It is a good day today!
"Doin the happy dance - Doing the happy dance!!"
Now I can move on to the next step: Getting rid of the two rust spots on the left passenger door (It got there after another pontiac ('92) opened a door at mine, ironic isn't it?) , the base of the car ("undercariage" I think the word is) an get the car resprayed in the same color. This is going to cost me even more than I payd for the car, but I think it'* worth it.
