Modding an '83?
I'm working on Mods for my '83 Brougham. Its a 305 5.0L V8. I got some exhaust and a few minor things such as a K&N Air filter, nothing big... yet. I really want headers, Hooker Shortys would be nice, but theres some crazy stuff about 184 pins or something to fit right, and I have no clue. I'm also looking for a semi-cheap way to get a lot of torque.. any suggestions?

Can't help you there, but welcome to the club!!! It'* nice to have another fellow brougham I think there are only three of us, and the third is a newer one. Look up 86V8 when you get a chance, that'* the other one
Again, welcome, and I'd love to see some pics posted

I've put headers on mine and they work fine. I'm really not the best person to give advice because my boyfriend is the one who does all my performance stuff and knows about these things. I am trying to learn though.
