1966 Bonneville Embasy Limo
I am working on collecting info on a 1966 Bonneville Embasy Limo. 1 of only 28 made.
Vin # 262506P102847, The body was made by Superior Coach Corporation Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Was wondering if anyone could help me find any more info about these cars.

Here'* the best I can find: Superior is based in Lima, Ohio, and was mainly a school bus manufacturer. Now they focus on Hearses and Limos.
Here'* a good history lesson:

and here'* their current homepage:

Oh, and just if you're curious, here'* what usually comes out of Superior Coach:
If I were you, I'd give these guys a call, maybe they still have some records of it being built. Hope the resto project goes well! We'll be here if ya need us!

You have a rare Bonneville. Sorry to reply a year late. Your Pontiac was assembled at the Kosciusko Mississippi plant as all Pontiacs were, all other coaches were built in Lima, Ohio. I have a 66 Bonneville Combo and have done a ton of research on these cars. They all came with the 325 hp 389 with YF engine code and 92 heads and low differential gears for a neck snapping launch. The most I have after contacting Accubuilt
is all the records for Superior were lost/destroyed in the late 70'*. Other than that they were a cut-off car, front clip, dash, steering the running supension and floorboards. Mine has the round dome Federal light, siren and gurney, the bier pin tracks and rollers and had been used as a coroner'* car and ambulance by Forest Lawn Funeral Homes and was originaly painted metallic blue. Your 68 is beautiful. Mine can be seen under Mikes ride in the photo section of the link below.. I want to ask about your Bonneville, does it have the factory tailights or are they "65 Corvair tailights like my coach?
