Default Unlearn a remote

This is probably a stupid question, but is there any way for a vehicle to unlearn the factory remote? My wife'* remote died and I paired my extra one to her car and now it controls both my truck and her car at the same time.

Is there anything I can do? Any way to wipe the remote from my truck?

I drive a 2007 Avalanche.

Thanks in advance!

You'll need to reprogram the truck with only the remotes you wish to use. When that happens, it should no longer work with the remote that your wife is now using.

Seems pretty straightforward thankfully:

Chevy Avalanche free remote keyless entry fob programming instructions 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 (with remote start and without remote start) | Carandtruckremotes.com Blog ? free keyless remote programming instructions
Switch ignition ON.
Repeatedly press vehicle information button Fig. 2 [A] until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY is displayed.
Press set/reset button Fig. 2 [B] until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.
Programming mode activated, proceed as follows:
Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on first remote transmitter simultaneously for 15 seconds.
Wait for acoustic signal (indicates correct programming).
Repeat above procedure to program remaining remote transmitters.
Switch ignition OFF to exit programming mode.
Remote transmitters can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 8 remote transmitters can be programmed.

So basically, if I program my remote 8 times it should kick out the other remote?

Not quite. Usually if you just reprogram using the remote you want to use, it should stop working with the one that was moved to the other car.
